Wow! That week just flew by. The students have really been working hard on controlling their blurting in the classroom this week. I am very happy with the progress they have made. They are listening to their peers when they share and they are raising their hands and quietly waiting to be called on.

Tomorrow is a teacher work day…which means no school for the kiddos. I hope all of you have a restful weekend : )

The kids and I had a great day. They finished up their math unit on time and we got to hang out with our buddies and make some MLK art. Next week is a short week with early dismissal on Thursday and no school for students on Friday.

Yesterday, I sent home a book order in the kids’ folders. If you would like to order books, please have the order form to me by Thursday, Jan 27th. When I send out the order, it takes about a week to come in.

Have a great weekend…..the weather looks to be nice!

Another productive week has drawn to a close. The students worked really hard this week. As for me, I am off  to visit a friends in Spokane to take advantage of the 3 day weekend. Hope everyone has a great extended weekend. And for those of you, like me, who will be watching the big game on Sunday…GO HAWKS!  : )

The first week back went very well. The students settled back into their routines and worked hard individually and during group discussion.

I have had a lot of fun getting to know the students and I am excited to see what new ideas and discussions they will bring to the table this week.

The weather man predicts extremely cold weather for the beginning of this week. Make sure your kiddos are dressed warm for outdoor recess. Hope you all had a nice weekend. Stay safe and stay warm. : )
