What a crazy week! Between the substiute and the snow, I have hardly had time to get settled since I got back from Disney. I had a great time and I am ready, and excited, to jump back into our learning routines. It has been difficult for the kiddos to get any flow since they got back because of the short week and substitute and all. We’ll get ‘em back in the swing of things yet!
We have a math quiz next week on Tuesday so be sure to ask your kids what they need to know on Monday night.
Have a safe, and hopefully, warmer weekend!

What a crazy week! I would like to thank all of the parents the contributed to the success of the class Valentine’s Day Party. The kiddos had a bunch of great food to eat. They had a great time. : )
Since it will be such a short week next week, there will be no new spelling words to study. The students will still have math homework and will be expected to read 15 min per night.
The students will have a substitute on Wednesday, Feb 23rd. I am flying out on Saturday to California to take my wife to Disneyland for her birthday. She and I are super excited!! I will be back on the Thursday following the President’s Day Weekend.
Have a great weekend!!

This has been a great week of behavior in Room 4! The kiddos are being very attentive and trying their best when completing their assignments. Monday is Valentine’s Day and I am excited. Our classroom party will be from 1:15 p.m. until about 2:20 p.m. There will be healthy food and fun crafts. I am also excited because Valentine’s Day also happens to be my birthday!
Remember that students have no school next Friday, February 18th. Hope eveyone has a relaxing weekened….I know I plan to : )

This has been a pretty good week productively. The kiddos are still working on not blurting in the classroom and making smooth transitions between subjects. They continue to show improvement.
We have just about completed our community mural in our classroom. All of the buildings turned out great. The kids put a lot of effort in to make it look the best they could.
Just a reminder that we have our Valentine’s Day “Healthy Pink and Red” party coming up. I have a few parents who have offered to bring healthy red and pink food, but I am looking for just a couple more if possible. Please e-mail me if you would like to help out.
Have a great week!
