I apologize for the tardiness of this post. I was out sick on Thursday and had a meeting on Friday.
Going into the last week, we are going to be busy, busy. Each day has a dress-up theme in celebration of Spirit Week this last week of school.
******* Please remember that dressing up is optional. We encourage it but it is by no means required. ******
Monday- Dress as your future self day (dress in clothes that you would wear to your future job in 20 years) I will be dressing as a teacher. (haha)
Tuesday – Colors of the Rainbow Day – Try to wear each color of the rainbow in your outfit for the day (Field day from 1:10-3:10)
Wednesday – Sports Day – Wear attire to represent your favorite team.
Thursday – Formal Day – Dress in your best (6th grade graduation)
Friday – Wacky and Crazy From Head to Toe Day…Need I say more? ( Last day of school – dismissal at 11:40 - No hot lunch on this day)
Various school supplies will be coming home each day so that we can begin to lean out desks gradually, rather than bringing everything home on the final day. There will also be no homework or spelling words this last week of school.
Thank you for all of your support over the course of this year. It has been a pleasure to have all of your children in my classroom.
